Compiled by co-owner and founder Nigel Waymouth and his son Louis, this album features 20 tracks that would have been heard on the record player inside London's first psychedelic boutique. Combining different musical styles including, Blues, R n B, Soul, Rock & Roll and Cajun. "Granny Takes a Trip" reflects the eccentric mishmash of styles that transformed mid 60’s London Mods into late 60’s "Psychedelic dandies".

"There was always a darker, more decadent element to "Granny Takes A Trip" - more New York than San Francisco ....... we really loved the Velvet Underground and we'd play their records all the time. Nico and John Cale brought a European flavour and a lot of black humour to the group's work. I illustrated the 'Venus In Furs' girl-child in a Hapshash and The Coloured Coat poster we designed for a Brian Epstein's Saville Theatre concert in October '67" Nigel Waymouth Jan 2004
